Got my new motor finally!!!!!!!Old motor for sale

I finally got my new motor last weekend. It came out of a 2002 f150 with 60,000 miles got her all bolted up and she fired right up runs like a dream! On a side note if anyone is looking for a 5.4 PI motor out of a 2001 f150 give me a call(937)877-9932. My old motor is for sale all it needs is a headgasket. I drove it all the way until the time of the swap. It just seeps coolant out of the intake side of the passenger head. I will take $400 for it,its complete from intake to oil pan.or you can email me calabschultz600@yahoo.com

So why did you have a 01 engine in your 2000 anyway ? How many motors have you had in that truck ? You must be hard on them.

Ops, -that didn't help sales any either, I expect :o

Sorry was a misprint the motor is out of a 2000. It was the stock motor for the truck. To tell you the truth I couldnt remember if the truck was a 2000 or a 2001. Thanks for clearing that up

Nobody? If noone wants it I will strip the heads and sell them.If anyone wants the shortblock they can have it.I will wait till saturday to start tearing it down.I figured somone would want it to do a swap. I can also get a complete harness from my local junkyard for next to nothing.

What about the upper and lower intake manifolds, they come with ? Still, it's not that great of a price. I've seen high mileage 5fours go for $300.

That said, there can be absolutely nothing wrong with a 200,000 mile motor. 272,000 on mine and it's never leaked oil or used it, -even when pulling a load.

It's just allot of miles to chance, - how it was treated, the history of and what she may have left in her. - The common sense stuff lol.

Original owner helps for sure

I have all the service records from the guy who owned it before me. He bought it in 2004 with 45,000 I think. He was a big boss at a construction company. They worked in Michigan,Ohio,West Virginia,Indiana and Illinois. They did steel buildings so he drove from job site to job site chekcing things out.The oil was changed every 5,000 miles and the coolant was flushed twice since he bought it.It just had intake gaskets done and new plugs. And yes the motor comes complete oil pan, upper and lower intakes, exhaust manifolds, power steering pump, injectors and the flexplate. I just want it out of the way and have no use for it.Ok new price if you come this weekend $250.
