I just wanted to post a big thank you to user Galaxy for his help with my spark plug blowout problem.

The time sert tool he rents out is awesome, and provides a very simple solution to this pain in the butt problem. All together it takes only a few hours to remove the parts you need and install the insert.

I did all the work with hand tools, but I would recommend using an air ratchet for the first two steps of the process, it would be even quicker then.

Jon was a great help and communicated frequently to make the rental an easy process. The rental fee was reasonable and ended up saving me hundreds of dollars, actually about a thousand, over what the local repair shops were asking for the repair. I highly recommend!
