Different part #'s pertain to front and rear. Same identical sensor, - only difference is harness length. Bosch and Motorcraft are two completely different parts, so - different #'s. Nothing else that I can think of that would be difficult to understand.

Which is better between the Bosch and MC?

When I click on the DY835 Motorcraft O2 sensor to see what it fits(on Rock Auto); it says:
FORD F-150 (1999 - 2004)
FORD F-150 FX2 (2007 - 2008)
FORD F-150 FX4 (2005 - 2008)
FORD F-150 HARLEY-DAVIDSON EDITION (2001 - 2008)
FORD F-150 HERITAGE 2004
FORD F-150 KING RANCH (2005 - 2008)
FORD F-150 LARIAT (2005 - 2008

Ok, I have an F150 FX4 Lariat. According to the chart, it fits 99-04 F150s but the FX4 and Lariat start at 05....and mines an 03. I guess I'm asking if the FX4 package or Lariat has something different or will these still work and the chart is wrong?

Thanx---DirtySCREW

On Rock Auto you look up year and model. That way you get what's recommended for your truck. Iduno, they make it easy unless somethings changed.

You have an F150 and they have your part for your year. None of the others apply. I don't get it, what's so hard lol.

Motorcraft and Bosch are both good. Bosch is OEM for our trucks, but you can run either. Motorcraft may have an slight advantage over Bosch according to one tuner that I know off, -other than that, - either or.

Motorcraft DY835's for your truck are $61.89 each at Rock Auto. That's the part number for your front sensors. Bosch are only a couple bucks cheaper, so get the Motorcrafts.

Jbrew---Yes, I have a 2003 F150......and Yes its a FX4....and Yes it has the Lariat package. I was just trying to make sure that the FX4 lariat didn't need a different part as its $120+ dollars.

glc---Thank you

same issue

I seem to have a similar problem. Won't hold speed uphill and needs to downshift. Low idle and a little ruff, not much. Only get about 15mpg this time of year and use to get 16-17mpg consistant.

Where are these sensors located? I have a 2001 XLT Supercrew 4x4 4.6 w/154k.

Recently replaced plugs, cops, filters, egr tube, pcv vlv., right exh. manifold

Anything else to look for?

Thanx - Dean

What did you use for plugs and cops? What did you use for a PCV valve?

You'll have to get under the truck to find them.
They are on the exhaust pipes by the cats.

Thanx - I found a post that had step by step instructions to change the sensors. Seems really close to what I have.

Plugs are OEM, COPs were bought from online site recommended here (ebay). Local garage changed pcv when doing plugs, so not sure what brand.

Thanx

PS, now I have a noise from belts/pulley, probably idler pulley. This thing is just starting to want all kinds of attention. New SensaTrac shocks, like a new ride. Just a little more money ( :<) ) and I'll be good for a couple more years. Yea, sure!

I bought it new in Nov 2000 and I WILL have a hard time parting with it some day!!!
