Is Amsoil PS fluid OK to use in my 07 F150? The manual says it takes Mercon V ATF, just want to be sure.

 

Use AMSOIL Synthetic Universl ATF fluid...not their power steering fluid.

 

Yeah Im glad I thought about it, my GM vehicles take the Amsoil PS fluid. I will get some Mercon V at the auto store and use that in my Ford PS.

 

I would use the Amsoil, like sam posted. It's great stuff.

 

Yeah I have done my 97 Suburban and 06 Duramax with the Amsoil PS fluid and man you can tell a difference. I bought the Amsoil PS fluid thinking it would work in my Ford, but I will just save it and get the Amsoil universal ATF to use in the Ford PS system.

DO NOT use the PS fluid in your Ford. The ATF in the photo above is what you want for your power steering system.
