I have a 99 F-150 4.6L :4x4 ext.cab short bed with 97,500. I have been using Napa 5W-30 oil and a Napa gold oil filter.
Should I switch to a Syn-blend or full Syn oil? And if do switch and can't afford Syn and have to go back to Conventional oil will it hurt my motor.

 

The recommended oil is Motorcraft 5w20 semi-synthetic and a Motorcraft filter. Both available at Walmart and are as cheap as anything.
