Where are the timing indicator marks located?
Can't see a pointer to set timing.
What is the correct timing procedure?

 

There should be a pointer at the 10 o'clock position. The marks are on the balancer. I usually will chalk the marks to make them easier to see. To time it, make sure it is at full operating temp, pull the spout at the distributor and set the timing. Remember to replace the spout when finished.

 

Thanks, that's what I thought. Couldn't see one. Will look again, but I think it might be in the previous owner's spart parts box.
