decide to go carburater

Decided to go carburater have 98 explorer 5.0 ho with gt40 heads what type of intake and carb would be best.Also going to change cam thinking b303.Putting all of this in a 1986 f150 was my dads truck trying to keep his memory alive.Thanks

Edlbrock performer intake and Ed performer carbs are simple. Not the best performance wise by along shot but if simplicity is important thats the way to go.

Keep in mind that the B303 has a pretty lumpy idle and will cost you some low end torque. You also should upgrade valvesprings if you change the cam. Trick Flow makes a nice set that works well on the GT40 irons and is well suited to a B303 or similar cam.

Edit: I think you may have GT40P heads if the engine is a 98? (the heads will be stamped GTP instead of GT) If so, the spark plug angle limits what headers you can run if you plan to run any. Just an fyi...
