Help me make it run right

I have the newer style 150 with the 5.4 and it runs like a dog, notnear the power it should have, also when i accelerate hard it picks up rpms for just a moment then falls on its face for about 5 seconds before trying to pick up speed again. It does not misfire that i can hear or feel. Things i have replaced are, cops spark plugs. Cam sensors. Crank sensor. Fuel filter. And cam actuators. It gets its normal mileage and will not throw a code. Any help would be great.

How many miles are on it? Always been a dog? I hear them newer 5.4's really wake up with tuners they take out the slug feeling. I've driven a brand new XLT just like the one I have only 10 years newer and my truck feels way more powerful. "They" say that it is the tune the new trucks come with that makes them feel that way.. If you truck just started feeling sluggish lately you might check the cats.

No it did run great at one time then got a real bad misfire to where i replaced everything that i stated in the original post, It ran great for a day then just started running like crap, but this time with no miss. This thing could not get out of its own way if it had to.

There are ways of testing them. Its been said that if you remove the stock cats if you take them to a salvage yard they will almost pay for new ones so make sure you dont just let them have them..

That's a real good way to cook/plug cats.
