Leak from under truck??

I have a leak under my truck, it is a grayish/silverish fluid (I'm pretty sure its power steering fluild), but it starts to leak after I go off-roading. It has happened before, when it leaks after off-roading, and it cost a lot to repair. I think the hose busts or something like that, not sure though. But why does it leak? Can't it handle a little bit of off-roading?? Thanks.

We have no idea. What truck would we be talking about a 74 F100 with a 360? an 80 f150 with a 400m? I take my truck off road all the time and dont break any thing. Maybe its just you? you beat the **** out of your old truck and it breaks??

Nope it's 2005 FX4, it has a 4" Rancho lift on it. I just went and did some puddle hopping and went through a little mud, wasn't even that bad of off-roading. But it's the 2nd time the hose/line for whatever it is busted open and is leaking. Like I said it might have to do with the power steering, but I'm not exactly sure.

Its hard to say without seeing it do it. The most likely cause is ur working the hise more off road and you exceed the hose's bursting pressure. You could try getting a custom hose build that has a higher bursting pressure than the oe hose that way when ur off roading the hose can handle the pressure.
