Do they make a Gear drive kit of the 4.6L

I have a 2000 4.6L and would like to run a gear drive kit. I have seen then on cummins engines, and don't even know if it is possible to convert the timing chains to a gear drive setup. And info or opinions would be great. Thank you.

Why not, for such a mainstream engines you think they would have them.

Or is gear drive kits only for push rod engines and not over head cam engines

Obviously you aint ever looked at the distance from the crank to the overhead cams. Gear drive would be impossibly impractical.. The chains work great anyway. Hardly ever hear of a failure.

Because there's about a foot and a half of distance between the crankshaft and camshaft sprockets.

Unless you want some overly complicated multiple gear/idler gear set up, it's not gonna happen.
