Help with 1994 f150 4x4
my 1994 f150 has 180,000 miles on it with a rebuilt transmission and it is bucking/jerking while driving at any speed cannot find the problem thought of everything what could be help me please.
I'd start with a complete ignition tune up if you haven't already done so. Rotor, distributor cap, spark plugs and spark plug wires. Also put a container of fuel injector cleaner in a full tank of gas.
Just buy a rotor, distributor cap, spark plugs(Autolite or Motorcraft) and spark plug wires. Buy a spark plug gapping tool and check the gap, the spec be under your hood some place, around .042 or .045 I think. Buy any other tools such as a spark plug socket, ratcet and extensions if you don't have them. Get some di-electric grease to put on the rubber part of the spark plug wires where they slip over the spark plug.
