Has the oil been changed recently? Sometimes people don't pay attention and the gasket sticks to the block from the old filter and then you have 2 gaskets on and that's NOT good. Did the filter spring a leak? Seldom happens, but I have heard of it. Someone didn't decide to pull a dirty trick on you and loosened your filter did they? Hope it didn't do damage when it ran low.

yea i just changed the oil 2 days ago and i alway put a dab of oil on the gasket so it dont stick so i dont think thats it i doubt someone could unscrew it without a filter tool cuz i get it on tight. im going to look at it closer today in the light so i can see what the deal it.
