We told you why the turn signal is blinking faster!
Fix your tail light.

And yes,,,the PATS can cause most of that.

Not PATS. Full sweep is caused by low voltage or PCM reboot. Battery, alternator or wiring is most likely cause. Fast blinking is bad bulb on left side somewhere.

Fast blinking bulb is caused by a bulb that is out. You have two, one up front and one in back for each side. They are on a timing system that works in sync with two bulbs. When one bulb is out, the resistance is divided by two, so the other working bulb blinks twice as fast. I don't believe the blinkers are at all tied into the PCM, then again some vehicles are programmed to automatically engage your hazards when in a collision or when it senses a loss of control, which also disengages fuel delivery, stereo, engages ABS, and such.

As for your initial problem, hopefully it gets fixed! Sounds like a worm in the system that needs to be killed, immediately. Monday isn't coming soon enough, and even I'm anxious to know the results!

Does it have a remote start? Remote start may cause this problem it will affect the PATS. But it is probably just a loose, or corroded connection battery to alternator.

I'd also like to know the results.

Thanks for all the replies. So far, I still don't know the problem.

On 5th, Ford service center were too busy and gave me an appointment for 11th 9AM. Dropped it off that morning at 8:20AM, and haven't heard from them. So today, on 18th, I called and got a story that mechanic has been working on it and were able to reproduce the problem once. But truck was disconnected from their computer, and they think it's the PCM but still needs more testing.

Well at least they gave me some story. In the past, all I got was "I'll check on it and will give you call" and then another week would pass by.

I MISS MY TRUCK!!!
(shouting helps?)

Just got a call from Ford service manager!
She said it's the Coil Packs #2 and #7, that need to be replaced. Cost $903.17, which will also include replacing the spark plugs, battery, and air filter.

What do ya think?

Ran into an old friend this afternoon, he said he also had full sweep of the gauges. He replaced the battery (6 years old) fixed his problem. Make sense that Ford wants to replace my 6 years old battery too.

Also his other truck had problem of stalling while on the road due to the coil packs. He said it's a common problem if you drive on fume frequently (which I've done in several occasions). He suggested replacing the fuel filter and use two fuel treatment per tank refill for several times. He said that fixed his problem.

I think I'll just pay that $95 diagnostic fee and pick it up.

It's been almost a week since I picked up the truck. I just paid $95 for diagnostic. Wasn't too convinced with their diag and cost after sitting in their garage for 2 weeks even after a week ahead appointment.

I replaced the battery, replaced fuel filter, left side light bulb, and added two gas treatments, all cost me $160. And so far no problem. My truck is running smoother than before.

Just to test it out, I've been driving the heck out of it. Almost three weeks and still no problem. Truck runs smoother, no hesitation on acceleration. Wish I hadn't wasted $95 on Ford's diagnostic.
