weird smoke problem

Hi all I gota 04 with a 5.4 with 190000 on it It has been blowing white smoke like a head gasket but it smells like rotten eggs and there is some liquid dripping from the joints in the exhaust. The liquid doesnt really have a smell and the coolant has not went down or overheat. The only other problem dont know if its related but there is a loud sorta how/whine cant pin point from where someone told me might be trans pump???? Also just changed the plugs none where clean like they had been steam cleaned.
Any help would be appreciated.

rotton eggs smell is bad cats. Have ya warmed the thing up real good and does it smoke then? Could be normal condensation coupled with bad cats.

are you losing any coolant???

are you still driving it??

have you checked the oil for coolant?

have you taken it to an exhaust shop to have 'em check the cats???

Some condensation caused white steam, and even water dripping out the exhaust when cold is normal. If it still blows white steam after it is warmed up, then you have a different issue than condensation. Take a 10 mile drive at highway speeds. Then do your test for the white steam. If condensation related there won't be any.

With 190K you probably need new cats, but they don't cause white smoke.

there is no coolant in the oil and i havent been driving it and it hasnt lost any coolant.
I just bought the truck as a beater got it real cheap just trying to work out all the kinks
isnt there a manifold pressure teat to tell if the cats are bad. I guess next il do a compression test.
