Happy Holidays from Canada
Just thought since I have been busier than one person should be any day lol, that I should update the crew on here with some good news and throw in some hioliday cheer
First off.... I finally have the black truck of mine

Has finally gotten FIXED!! I started working at a transmission/driveline shop in town and got the chance to actually dig into her. Replaced a few issue parts and let her sit in the -15C over night hoping the idle would smarten up and its golden
.
Second off... I am going to school in April for my first year mechanics after only being employed at this shop for 3months :P so I am stoked about that, BIG TIME!!
and lastly, but most importantly since my fiance would kill me lol. June of this year I am getting married
. Just thought I would share my uplifted spirit with you all
Back to my topic on motors tho, just so JBrew can tell me "I damn well told you so boy!" :P it was most likely the intake gaskets that were the root of the problem on the truck. I say this as I replaced a few other things as a "test method" while i was in the fixing groove. My list of parts included:
DPFE sensor, Air Inlet Temp Sensor, Lower Intake Gaskets, Throttle Body Gasket, Brake Vacuum Hose, and about 6litres of coolant (because I forgot to drain the system LMAO).
Most of all I must say thank you to everyone that provided incite and help through my frustration and impatience while diagnosing and isolating my problem. You have all done a great amount of help and helped me learn far too much about my truck over the last year.
So Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to ya'll from the great white north :P See ya'll in the NEW YEAR

:santa:
