will theses 02 sensors work?

i changed my rear 02's when i did the "gotts 02 modd" just fer the hell of it...well i decided i needed to change my front ones...and instead of the bosch ones (like my back ones) they gave me denso part number 234-4046...will these work? the reason i got them is to try and pick up some MPG or run a little better..but if these wont work then ill take them back

they were about 20 bucks cheaper than the bosch

I change my O2 sensors every 50k. I buy the rear sensors for my truck as they have the longer wires. I remove the fronts and put them in rear. I throw out the rear ones. I install the new sensors in the front and zip tie the extra wire in a loop. My front O2 sensors never have more than 50k on them. They are the more critical sensors so I keep them fresh.

I definitely agree JMC. I think Motorcraft has the better sensors, from what I've read anyway. I'm going to give them a shot. I'm most likley going to have to order Rear Sensors w/ a 16" measurement in order to get a 12" harness. That's what you have to do for Bosch if your running LT's. They give you the measurement from plug end to sensor end , "stretched out" and not just the harness length. So you have to make sure they will fit. A 16" is a 12" harness, know what I'm saying...I don't know why they do it like that, but I confirmed that with them all in front me on the counter at O'Riely's/Murrays.

Check this out,- Motorcraft/Bosch @ Justin's site -

Do they lol, - I didn't know that. So why are they different I wonder or what is the difference ? A Ford spec thing ? Interesting for sure, why the 2 and why doesn't Ford use the Motorcraft, specially if their more stable. From what I've read, I'm thinking the truck COULD run a little better , maybe even pick up a little mileage.

Iduno then, she's running great, maybe I should just leave it alone lol. Geeze, I haven't touched it in almost a whole year.

Could be a similar issue to the Motorcraft - Autolite situation. I haven't heard of anyone having problems with the Bosch though.

Yea, that thought had crossed my mind as well. Same here, I've never heard of any problems either.
Justin has more than the one graph on that site, some showing the Bosch O2's getting flaky compared to the Motorcraft. Personally, I'm not sure how to measure up those graphs accurately; Looks and sounds like there might be quite a difference, but I could easily be wrong.
