Brisk Plugs

Plan on putting these in sometime next week. Not too sure what's so special about these to cost $130 for a set of eight but we'll see.

Basically for the guys with the 04-08 5.4 3v engine. I had them put in my truck and I couldnt tell a difference but I dont want to go with the factory plugs. I was told by Troyer and Brisk they are not platinum so only expect around 25,000 miles out of them. I have 22,000 on the set of mine and at around 21,000 my truck started to idle a lil rougher so I expect the plugs need to be changed out. It also could be the crappy winter gas or the cold weather here in Indiana. I will know for sure after christmas though and report back.

I recently installed a set of the 12's (Gapped @ .032 for the S/C) and I believe there is a noticeable difference over the Autolite HT0's.

These are 14's so I'm hoping they help a little more than the basic 17's.

If you have a rough idle, and the plug change doesn't solve the problem, don't overlook cleaning the MAF. Can sure make the truck run better. There is an instruction thread in the Articles and How To section.
