Just another build thread continued...

Alright after some setbacks my build is finally making progress again. Today I tied up some loose ends and prepared to start the truck. Primed the oil pump, it built pressure quick and is make about 75psi. So I put my plugs in and tried to fire it up. Granted it doesn't have a tune yet, maf , iat, and o2 sensors weren't plugged in, but it didn't start after a few tries. I figured even with out the tune it would at least fire then fall on its face. Its got fuel pressure at the rails. I pulled out a plug, but i couldn't smell gas on it and it was cold to the touch. Seems like if it had fire it would at least be warm. I tried to arc it to the intake manifold and that didn't work. So whatt would you guys do from here? Whats the best way to check to make sure ive got fire and gas in the cylinders? Or should I just wait to get a startup tune?

Just to refresh your memory, Its a 97 F150 4x4 that had a 4.6, now it has a 5.4 trying to run off the 4.6 computer.

Thanks, Brandon
