2004 f150 5.4l v8

I have a 2004 5.4L V8, yesterday I had a complete tune up done and changed all of the plugs and coil packs.... i was driving to around about 6 hours after having it done and i blew a damn plug... should ford fix it for free? Also my cam phasers just started to make my truck sound like a diesel... would this affect my truck??

If you had Ford change the plugs, yes. Their repairs are guaranteed for 12 months or 12000 miles. However, the cam phasers are YOUR problem unless you have an extended warranty.

I have never heard of a 2004 blowing plugs out, unless you have a Heritage with the 2V engine, and those don't have cam phasers.

His profile does state he has a 2003... and his forum name has '03 in it. Slip of the finger? The 03's were a lot less likely to blow plugs. I had a shop change my plugs, it ran like crap and I dug into it and found a plug basically finger tight. Didn't blow it out (thankfully).
