No, Motorcraft, Denso Iridiums or NGK. Champions are for lawn mowers.

I would only use Motorcraft. I just had mine changed on my 3v 5.4. Its oem and you know they will last at least or near 100,000 miles.

OEM Motorcraft, do NOT use antiseize, and torque them to 28 ft/lb. Use dielectric grease in the COP boots.

I will keep and eye on things but I have never had a problem with them before so I dont see any reason to not use them. Plus they are manufactured in the good old USA so thats a selling point for me.

have you ever put them in a modular engine before?
if so you are a lucky man. just cuz they are made in the US doesnt mean anything. bosch are made in the US arent they

i dont believe champions are made to the FOMOCO specs...

I remember this guy, he does everything backasswards and says it works! For someone to be this "in the dark" about Champion Plugs, -I sure as hell wouldn't put to much faith in his posts. Either very very un-educated, or -
some kind of wacked modular rebel IMO.

Yeah I dont have a clue what I am talking about. I have a 10 second 69 dodge dart drag car and a 55 chevy hot rod both run perfect as well as a 99 f150 a 05 cavalier (commuter) and 00 expedition (wifes car) all run perfectly. SO your right I dont know anything about cars at all. If you dont want to use my advise that is fine it does not bother me at all. I dont need to have everyone agree with me nor do I care to. take my advise or leave it but be respectfull enough to not insult someone who is only trying to help. but hey you do whatever gets you through the day.

and BTW I use autolites not champion

easy, easy, easy.

no need to get riled up. your one of the few that havent had problems out of autolites then.

i just dont understand why people refuse to use factory spec parts is all. if you wanna run autolites and save $0.80 then go ahead.

and no GLC im not referring to motor oil/filters
