Carb Vacuum Line Issue

I have a 1984 f-150 with a 302 and a motorcraft 2 barrel carb. The previous owner hacked up the emissions system and I am trying to put it back together. There are two lines I cant seem to identify. There is a hole on the underside of the choke. It draws a heavy vacuum and it is currently open. Does anyone know where it is supposed to connect to? Also, there are two small metal lines. One was for my EGR and I reconnected it. The other starts as a rubber hose on the back of the carb then transitions into a small metal hose. Any idea where that goes? I am hoping that wherever that hose goes it the source of my slight exhaust leak. Thanks!

Pics would help. The threaded port on the bottom of the choke should have a metal line going thru the exhaust manifold to open air.
