Get those Bosch out of there and put Motorcrafts in. Check the PCV elbow in back of the intake manifold for cracks and mushiness.

A muffler shop can use an infrared sensor to tell if your cats are clogged.

hey
Yes GLC , i had the same prob only i also had code p1409 ( snap on tester ) and today i checkt all the vac hoses and no crack in it . So i have disconected all the vac hoses and also the demounted the right innerwing . There is the canister with the vac hoses . then i disconected those and cleand eatch off it with air pessure . The hose from the canister to the EVR was as good as closed and i blow all the dirt out of it . by remounting everything the prob was fixt , no more lamda probs and no more evr code .

hope its a little help .

Is it not so GLC when the cat is blocked that the hoses DPFE and EMS has to blow of from the egr tube ?

Get the bosch plugs outta there and get ya some motorcraft plugs ASAP that will help the misfires.

as for the lean check vac hoses and the intake manifold for leaks.

Bosch plugs dont do well in modulars probably the worst plug for them and they are picky engines that way. Get Motorcraft Denso or NGK plugs.

Truck runs good now! #7 injector was bad, #1 cyl the coil was bad, 2 of the cats were plugged and there was a vaccum hose cracked by the passenger side valve cover. Replaced injector, took all 4 cats off and welded bungs for o2s in new pipes, replaced vaccum line and replaced both coil packs. Thanks guys!

You should really put 2 high flow cats back on.
