Sudden loss of MPG?

I have an 07 FX4 and was getting around 400 miles out of my 30Gallon tank, did Flowmaster Exhaust, Gotts style intake, and a K&N drop in = 450 miles per tank......

Now I am gettin around 300 miles per tank and my truck is not as responsive as it used to be.... I have 45,000 miles on it and no suspension or wheel/tire mods..... Think I need new spark plugs or to just run a fuel system cleaner?

THanks for the help

ethanol winter fuel mix is to partly blame most likely. E10 is government mandated in allot of places we get it here in Salt Lake and my mileage drops by a mile per gallon or so every winter.
Yo still might need a tune up..

Im not trying to thread jack what so ever just to make that clear, i just want to as some questions for the both of us so we can both use the knowledge given to us without having to seperately ask

that being said, how long after the drop in installation would you suggest cleaning it, and then should it be done periodically afterwards? if so, how incramentally?

thank you

Just check it every now and then and when it's dirty clean it. The k&n use the purple oil and when you can't see purple anymore it's a good idea to clean it
