what exactly do you need to know? assuming your going to go carburated you'll either need to get rid of the electric fuel pumps and put a mechanical pump in or a low pressure electric pump or get an adjustable regulator for the current pump(s). go with the c6 if automatic. or build up the aod so you have o/d. what are your exact plans? how much power you wanting? is it 2 or 4 wheel drive? whats it gonna be used for?

this truck is my daily driver, its a 2 wheel drive. for power I would like all I can get, I tow a small trailer every other weekend(haul stuff to the dumpster) my main concern if I need to fab anything up. BTW, I am going carburated

the 351 should bolt right in. the only problem is a stock aod will never hold up to it so its either gotta be beefed up or replaced with a c6(better than the c4). long tube headers are a must, plus an edelbrock intake manifold and a holley carb will probably be all you'll need. but i personally like stroker motors. are you gonna be doing the work yourself, or having a machine shop do it?

I'd keep the aod and I'd get an efi 351 and build that. Your already efi 302 so it would be a simple swap. you could get everything you need from a donor. Exhaust manifols if you kept them or buy headers. just rebuild it all. for a rebuilt tranny abd engine youd be looking at 3-4 grand.
