Sorry about that. Forgot to resize it.

Yeah, I'm not sure why it's so filthy. Especially when I have NEVER seen a filter like this, and I've been here for years. I'm planning on changing it out at the next oil change, just to make sure.

The scary part is, I poured about 1/4 of the filter contents out into my hand before I put the rest into the jar. Definitely something I have never seen before. I could actually see the dirty fuel pouring from the filter.

Thats normal for a filter to have that kinda crap in it after 60 thousand miles and 4000 gallons of gas. Just change the filter in 20k and every 20k thereafter

As long as you have the tool and the ability to change the filter, change it as often as you want to - they aren't expensive. Motorcrafts are either $9.50 or $12.33 at rockauto.com, depending on which one yours takes - it's build date dependent.
