glc---I'm thinking about that.....I just can't get that horsepower Tv episode out of my head. I was/am so impressed at the Horsepower gained on that Camaro just by changing the oil, transmission, and rear diff to all Royal purple products. If Amsoil or Mobil 1 or any other synthetic provided the same results, why haven't I seen or read about those results??? Mobil 1 has the prestigeious honor of being factory fill in Corvettes, Porsches and other high end automobiles. I have not seen 1 Amsoil commercial. I barely hear anyone on TV on car shows talk about Amsoil. I understand marketing and the like, but Amsoil is like a cult to me. NO disrespect to anyone, but the only ones you hear talk about it are the ones using it. I'm running Mobil 1 in the Mrs. Toyota and have been a longtime Mobil 1 fan. Its good oil. I'm still undecided----DirtySCREW

Then use Mobil 1 across the board - just make sure you use 5W20 EP in the engine.

If I still did my own fluid changes, I'd be using Amsoil. I don't want to be bothered, so I take my truck to a lube shop I trust - they use Mobil 1 EP in the engine and BG lubes everywhere else in my truck, because that's what they sell. I don't believe in bringing my own stuff in, that's like bringing eggs into a restaurant and asking them to cook them for you.
