Trouble Codes.

Hello,
I have a 2005 F-150 with the 5.4 3v. It has roughly 35000 miles on it. Today on the way home it started running terrible. Idle terrible, hesitation, something really wrong. I do have an Edge tuner that I have been running on level 1 (trans only), so I pulled the DTC Codes and it read (P0175 Bank 4 running Rich) and then gave me two others that said cylinder 5 misfire and cylinder 7 misfire. It did have a 4th, but I cant remember what it said. I tried re-flashing back to stock and now it lost the codes.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Devildog101

is it still running poor without the edge? i'd get those injectors tested first. ford had a bad batch of injectors in the 05 5.4. they warrantied them for 100,000 miles.

Thanks to both. I did a search shortly after I posted (sorry), and found out about what had happened with you and FX4's trucks. I also had this posted over in the tuner section because I had an edge. I just flashed the truck back to stock and removed/uninstalled everything. I do not want to attempt to drive it to the dealership to get it checked out. I am wondering if they will cover a tow.

Also, I am worried about what happened in FX4Life's deal, where they denied the warranty because of his Edge. Has anyone ever found out the truth about how to get the code out of the PCM that shows a programmer was used? Any ideas before I get it to them would be great.

Thanks again for everyone,

Well my dealer doesn't care if it has a tuner. They knew I had an edge, I told them what code it pulled up when I had to pull over and call for a tow. I have free towing on my insurance policy.
