A guy who lives close by has no2 in a 98 model w/4.6 and got some guy to set it up for him and he messed around with the timing and a few other things and he's been running it daily for almost a year now and no problems yet!!!!

 

I think YET is the key word here.
Yes you can run it,if properly setup.And not to big of a shot.
But it will significantly reduce the life of your motor!!!!!

yo OAK, do you still have a warrenty(sp?) on you truck?

 

The way I see it, a supercharger or a turbocharger are both pretty hard on the engines life and cost a lot more sooo why not put nitrous a use it only when u want to!!!!!Just my point of view!!!!Still open 4 your opinions though....still have a lot 2 learn lol!!!!

 

I'm not saying dont im just saying that no2 pops engines fast. your is a fairly new engine so you can get away with it for a while. I'm just saying if you still got warantee(sp/wtf?)
dont do it cuz that will get voided. Plus you got a real nice truck it would suck to ruin it

 

What your saying is true.....I'm looking forward to getting long tube headers and the edge tuner!!!!We'll see from there!!!!Today I put in my new AEM Brute Force (had an Airaid) and it's awesome....had 2 do a some cutting 4 the o2 sensor cuz it was 4 a 04-05 and mines a 07 but it fits great and looks even better!!!!
