hey all...i have a 98 f-150 4x4...just replaced origional motor with a newer 4.6 with 79,000kms on it..when start engine in park, she starts great and idles perfect...put her in gear idle goes way down and gives a small sputter when taking off..while drivin she works perfect!..till i come to a stop then she idles way down and dies, but she'll start back up perfectly!!..new wires and plugs installed when i changed over...other than this annoyin habit the engine works and sounds great....any suggestions????..this truck is slowly drivin me up the wall...lol..thnx

 

what brand plugs and wires? did you make sure all the connectors are plugged in? what year 4.6 did you use? are there any codes?
