Problem

i dont have a clue what this could be and ive never heard about anyone having the same problem but i need help. when i turn the truck on(cold start) in the cab i can hear water or some kinda fluid washing around its really loud and when i accelerate it gets louder?? anybody no what it could be? it just start doing this and its really annoying, i thought maybe it could be the A/c or something in the engine but idk. someone help thanks

Clean your coolant cap, it may be plugged/ then, let it bleed.

Does your heater still work, could be the heater core ?

What does it sound like after shutdown, -after operating temp has been achieved?

Very likely low coolant - you have air in the system.

thanks for the posts guys...when the operating temp has been achieved its not as bad and if you listen closely you can still here it but its not as bad as it is when i start it cold. and yea i need to go see if its the heater core bc that what my dad said it could be. how do i get the air out of the system?

oh my b i read that post wrong, it only really noticeable when i start it up cold, at operating temp u cant really hear it so when i turn it off at operating temp u cant hear it. but when i go to start my truck in a hour or 2 after shuting it off i hear that water flowing noise, idk this is getting hard to explain sorry guys. lol bout to just go to the mechanic or sumthing

Ahh, okay,- Yea clean that cap, they do plug up and WON'T eventually bleed out as they should. Mine did this at one time, not as bad as yours, your also over-pressurizing the system, if you can hear it when running. This is creating Hot Spots inside the engine. Something bad may happen if it continues.

Listen to what I'm posting and you can fix this.

Either follow Ford Service, here -



Or go vertical, about 45 degrees upgrade and crank the heat and sit there for a few lol. - Make absolutely sure you clean the cap well.

man this sounds like a big problem but i gotcha, thanks man, just curious what would happen if i left it like this like will the heater core blow or something?

Or shorten your engine life.
