Belt wont fit

Belt wont fit

we tried putting the acc belt on and the tension er and the belt wont go on somethings like really close to the pully and we cant figure it out . got any ideas

your having a hell of a time with the swap arent you
what brand belt and whats the part #? is it going on the lightning engine? did you mess with the blower pulley size? any other pulley?

haha ya but its going to be well worth it in the end...the belt is a good year gator back 4080797...8pk2025...and this only goes to the accessories like to the power steering pump...alternator..its the pulley on the passenger side on top of the pulley tension er. theres like a random chip on top of the pulley

well according to goodyears site that belt is for a 5.4 without a/c. does yours have a/c?
it shows that the lightning uses part number 5p001 or 4080660

but the problem is there is something right next to the pulley like a metal piece and theres no way the belt would fit in between it

theres some random clip next to on of the pulleys could cant see it but u can feel it
