Hi all I was hoping that someone could help me with this one. My dad has a 1997 F150 with 4.6 auto. It is a "W" (romeo) engine. The engine is bad and we are going to replace it. I found one from a 01 will this interchange with the 97 truck? If no can someone tell me why. I have been reading about PI heads what does this mean? thanks so much for your help.

 

the '01 will have PI heads so get the intake manifold with it and if possible the engine wiring harness
