performance upgrade help

i have the 4.6l engine in my truck
here are a couple of upgrades i have been looking at for more power..

Manifold

Carbouration

Larger fuel injectors

Jba headers

can anybody give me input on any of these upgrades or let me know of some better ones?
and for the larger fuel injectors what cc should i run because there are lots of choice sizes to run out there.

Also, the upgrades i have as of right now are a php programmer, cold air intake and a flow 40

What year 4.6?

Manifold = about the only thing out there is a aftermarket mustang manifold and you would lose what little torque you have.

Carbouration =

Larger fuel injectors = You'll get NO benefit or power from bigger injectors!

Jba headers = JBA only make shorty headers. Wast of time and money! You need long tube headers to get any power increase.

Also I have a K&N Cai and Diablo sport programmer. These both help your throttle response. I read around about a 75mm TB for our motors. If installed you get better fuel eco, like maybe 3 hp or more. probly somthing you wouldnt want for 200 bucks. Im deciding to go with 4:10 gears and those headers with some high flow cats. This should improve performance to were i need it. Just to give you some ideas.

That's why I asked what year he has,
kinda hard to help without knowing.
4.10s are a great upgrade though no matter what he has.

no crap, no personal attack intended or meant, sorry you felt that way

I just want to clarify: the 3 valve 5.4 engines use a different header than the 2 valve 4.6, if people listen to bad advice ie what's posted on the summit site they are gonna be spending money they can't afford to

I got ya thier. They actually told me of two headers that fit. Forget the other one but it didnt say it fit the 4.6 so i kinda ignored them. So I read through his post he has a 2004 f-150 with a 4.6. Theirs no updates about a new truck.
