Problems with ECG Valve? 97 F150
so i got this rough idle going on......i got it diagnosed it says misfire on cylinder 3. bad ECG valve.
my question is where is this thing? and how to i replace it? i looked at autozone and couldnt find an "ECG" valve.
some help would be awsome..
1997 F150 4.6L auto trans 136k on the clock so far.

The misfire is most likley a PO303, - which is usually ignition related = plug,wire,boot or coil.
Never heard of that one? There's and EGR valve, but No code for it directly. Closest would be a PO402. There's an ECT sensor. Other than that, you got me? Post when you find out what it is.
