couple motor questions

so my motor has 180,000 miles on it and gonna be keeping it for a long time to come. So soon I want to go through and completely build the motor from top to bottom to handle a KB 2.6 supercharger. The truck is a 02 5.4 lariat so the motor will be perfect for making big numbers when its all done. So my question is this. the motor is a 3v, but with the kb charger to make max power and for everything to work together I need to put a lightning 2v head on the motor correct? When I have the motor built pistons will be replaced as well as crank and rods being worked to handle the extra power. The lightning head should fit right on shouldn't it? Also for a motor pushing that much power what should I look at as far as a fuel pump? anyways thanks for the help guys.

If you have an 02 5.4 it is already a 2V!

I run 2 Walbro 255lph pumps.

ya its the 02 5.4 so that works awesome, everything will go right together with the charger, now when you say the head is pi and the lower intake will bolt right up what are you referring to? i've got a K&N intake right now but plan on changing that with the build for a ram air intake that would draw air from the front bumper area so that it won't be drawing in hot engine air. what would yall suggest I look at as far that goes?
Thanks for the help

97 & 98 5.4 did not have PI heads. The L intake manifold dose not line up properly on non PI heads. You have PI heads so it lines up right like it should.
The 2 best ram-air kits are.

I run the JLP kit.
