My 2003 5.4 makes noises at start up

My 2003 5.4 makes noises at start up

When I start the truck usually when cold it makes a rattleing type of sound .. I cant figure it out .. It only does it when it is cold... I made a video see what you think ??

The video doesnt really produce the sound good.. but it sort of rattles , sounds like a metal baby rattle or rattleing keys.. for about 2 seconds.. then thats it

rattle on startup

It may sound somewhat silly but did you check your exhaust system for any loose connections or bad hangers, loose manifold bolts etc. sometimes when cold they can contract and when heating up they expand.

I will check , that makes sense though .. I am going to have the truck serviced in a couple of weeks .. I am thinking about putting a high flow muffler on the truck and I will get them to check everything... I was thinking cam phaser but wouldn't they make noise all the time?

Are you using a Motor craft filter. Alto of the other brands do not have anti drain back capabilities. So it takes longer to build oil pressure?

yep just changed oil ,, using recommended oil for my truck 5w 20 and a motorcraft oil filter...
