4v engine tuning

So my mechanic just bought a navi with a 4v 5.4 and he is gonna sell me everything for the swap in my 98 f150 5.4 4x4. Im gonna keep my transmission so I know Im gonna need to get my new engine tuned. I plan on putting on a cold air MAF and a cold air intake, along with my BBK underdrive pully's from my truck now. I live in Louisville ky, but I dont know where to get it tuned when its in my truck. anyone know a place anywhere close ish?

Contact Mike Troyer. He is the best tuner around.

as for a mail tune... go with mike troyer. he is the best guy for tuning something by just telling him what you have. sounds like an interesting build.

by cold air MAF I meant cold air tuned Mass airflow sensor by Granatelli. They claim gains from 10-35hp... and the k&n intake with heat shield claims 13. I hope with that and some free flowing exhaust starting with some long tube headers I should get 370hp to the crank. That sound about right?

better change cams, injectors, fuel pump, throttle body when you change the MAF

I dunno about 370 because its not a "new" engine, so its going to have wear. A MAF sensor will NOT gain you any power unless for some reason your stocker is restrictive. You will gain power from an intake though.

Troyer is the best tuner around, but expect about a 4 month wait to get your tunes.

Who out there has done this swap, and what have they done to get more power from the 4v? One day maybe supercharger too, has anyone found one that will work for the 4v? Im probably gonna keep the 4v motor in my garage for a year before I take my truck out of service so I'd like to have it rebuilt and somewhere between 370-400 naturally aspirated before I put it in.
