Did you actually check the female connectors to make sure that they were tight? Some of the Aftermarket prongs are not as wide as the factory tools. Once the dealer uses his connector the female connector gets stretched and your connector prongs do not make proper contact. I had that happen and had to dismantle the connector to close up the female connectors.
