Exclamation Best Spark Plug

I am getting ready to change my spark plugs. I am long overdue for this. I have 126700 miles and just now have the time to do it...

I am wandering what the best plug to put in my 5.4 V8 is. Its just the normal motor, not the harly or boss edition.

Stock Motorcraft?
New E3's?
What?

In your case, you have a one piece plug....just go with stock motorcrafts for best performance!.....

Motorcraft SP-479's, put in dry (NO antiseize) and torqued to 28 ft/lb. Make sure you use dielectric grease inside the COP boots.

Because you don't need it for four thread heads.

The SP-series plugs have nickel plated threads designed for the aluminum heads. Using antiseize invites plug blowout, especially on the 4 thread heads. This is also why 28 ft/lb is now recommended instead of the 15 ft/lb factory spec.
