so today i popped my hood to check my oil and i noticed that the hoses that come off the metal egr tube to that sensor(i belive its part of the egr anyway) were burnt and disconected at the sensor, i looped one hoes to the other to stop the exhaust leak. what kind of hose do i need to replace these hoses and do i need to?

 

make sure you get them from ford. other aftermarket hoses dont hold up to the heat very well. just go to the dealership and ask them for the dpfe sensor hoses.
