Water in the valley behind alternator
Water in the valley behind alternator
I had a little puddle of coolant on my driveway when parking on a steep incline....Well i figured out where my seepage came from...looks like i have some coolant pooling in the valley behind my alternator...any ideas where it could be coming from and what is the fix?? thanks guys
Their is a nipple sticking out of the block behind the water pump that the coolant tube connects to. It is the tube that is on the back passenger side of the motor. Their is two o-rings on the nipple, maybe on of them is bad. Hope this helps

Just gaskets, - a Torque Wrench that reads inch pounds will be needed. You have to tighten down the intake correctly or she'll leak.

Yep, at least two stages - I do 3 myself w/new gaskets. The heads have to be bone dry and free from any foreign matter, specially oil.
