Somethings wrong with it man. I bet it's all in the tune. First year 3 valves were seriously under tuned from the factory.

I have a 3.55's w/LS and allot less Hp than you and I can get rubber - and this was on new concrete.

Remember, the 04-08's have a electronic throttle, so your not getting 100% power when you punch it.

From your sig. I assume u are running a 4.6 have u done any mods to it???
The only mods I've done is the Gotts Intake mods and a run of the mill Flowmaster dual exhaust. I didn't feel a difference after either were done. The programmers are stated to give you 25 horsepower and 40 lb/ft of torque. Hopefully I'll be able to feel that.

I don't know, just Ford's way of making it more comfortable.

I'm curious if that's what gets tuned out ? Iduno, something gets changed drastically.. - A buddy has a 05 3 valve that was slow as hell, - the truck would barley brake torque stock rubber lol. Purchased a tuner, just ran off the canned set and it was like night and day, different truck entirely.

You can spin the tires on wet pavement with the 3.73's. Hell, mine does it with 3.55's. A custom tuned programmer will eliminate almost all of the throttle lag and give 100% power when you want it.
