Rough idle, no codes
Rough idle, no codes
Need some more ideas, 2001 F-150, 5.4, is idling rough at low RPM. Problem occurs, now both when engine at operating temp. and when cold, and is much more pronounced in forward/reverse gears. There is a regular blip in the idle (plus/minus 50 RPM) and it does seem to be getting a little worse, enough to make the truck rock a bit.
This is driving me nuts, I've cleaned TB, IAC, performed vacuum/electrical checks on all EGR components, cleaned/tested MAF, replaced PCV, new fuel filter, cleaned K&N, checked TPS, replaced plugs, checked COPS, and problably a couple other things i have forgotten.
At this point it would be nice to get a CEL just to have something to go off of.
Any suggestions?

Put in dry filter, cleaned MAF, new PCV, checked PCV hose 90 degree connector. Shop confirmed that plugs were OEM, and that they greased them. Still the same problem. Anybody know why it would happen more in the forward/reverse gears? I thought EGR, but system checks out.
