From a durability point of view, my bother has an '03 with 209k on it and it's running like a champ (orig engine and trans), no issues. He's got it for sale for $4500, if that gives you a barometer. XLT, 4.6L longbed.
I also have a '99 with 196k that's also running like a champ. I thought the trans would give up the ghost a long time ago, but she's doing just fine. XLT, 5.4l, Longbed.
Other than COP's that have gone bad and been replaced, no issues.
