Power Steering Filter

I was lookin on advance auto parts web site and saw the they sale a power steering filter. I have a 07 F-150 XLT 5.4 w/ 60,000 miles. Has anybody else heard of a power steering filter? My power steering works fine but i wondered how often its supposed to be changed?

Thanks

No filter on that. Don't know what it is, but let it go. You don't need it.

I bought a reman box from Advance ~8 years ago, and the warranty booklet said that, for it to be valid, you MUST have a P/S filter on the same receipt as the box. So I asked the monkey behind the counter why he hadn't told me before I bought the box. He said he had never read the warranty booklet, and they didn't sell a filter that would work anyway.

I guess someone there FINALLY figured it out.
