I'm still confused about the A/F readings if I was not getting spark wouldint I run rich ?? not lean ??

Another question my A/F sensor is in the drivers side header just after the collector. I was seeing the A/F dip into the Sixteens while cruising home last night . do you think that points to the drivers side of the engine for the problem??

A bad injector is possible, just not as likley. You can determine which bank (drivers or passengers 1 & 2) your problems are on with a wide-band, but yea, I know what your saying, seems like the O2 on that bank would show rich. It could be that the misfiring cylinder count is down which may show as lean to the PCM. This might be a question for the tuner section for a better understanding, I would ask about it if curious. I know that running rich or showing rich is very bad for the O2's, it thro's them off. Fixing the problem will get her back right regardless.

Good Luck.

update

I went out and pulled plugs and COP's. Two COP's on the drivers side had what looked to be coolant cleaned boots and connections, greased, re gapped plugs (gap was loose) took for a test drive so far runs great ....

I had a thermostat gasket leak last year and I replaced that could the coolant have been trapped in the S/P well for that long ???
