Does it really make a difference as opposed to stock

sorry for not specifying, assuming I was to replace my wires and coil packs with msd ignition stuff

i use their wires, i did not have success with their coil packs. i have not tried again since my initial issues.

I think most have had good success sticking with stock ignition componants with the Modular engines. I have MSD stuff on my mach I that is far superior to the stock stuff but they really havent made anything fo the 4.6 or 5.4 engines thats worth changing over to.

I switched to the MSD coil packs nearly 30k ago, and they work great. I have been using Accel wires with them which are fine too.
