extended warranty

extended warranty

I have a 06 screw with 26,302 miles I just ran out of factory warranty on mar 21st because of 3 years not mileage anyone know a good extended warranty company.I was quoted 1700.00 for 2 years or 24,000 miles seems hight to me?

I'd only go with Ford... I have heard of problems with anyone else. Search on this site... good deals are out there on Ford extended warranties.

Ford Premium care is as close to a "bumper to bumper" warranty you can get. As I understand it, you have up until 36000 miles to still buy one. Not sure of the years, though. Just know that until you hit 36K, it can still be bought from the dealer. They push the Ryan warranty where I'm at. They are a pain to deal with most times. Ford warranty is just like the factory 3/36. Only need prior approval if it is over a certain $ amount. Other than that, you run the causal part against covered components and if it is a covered part, you repair the vehicle as if it was under "warranty". You can choose your level of deductible. The lower the deductible, the more costly the warranty. Just like insurance.

I have a 7 year 100K mile Ford Premium ESP warranty. I'm at 35,000 miles now, & I'm glad that I got it. I paid $1800.00 for it back in 2007......
