Hell I remember actually being intimidated by the process just 6 months ago!Thank you for your valuable input. I picked up a new c.o.p. pigtail from the local Ford dealer here ($30) After I replace that I will update if that fixes the P0354 code, then off to the dealer for a set of Motorcrafts. -Mark
- Don't feel bad, I changed my plugs out 3 times in a two week period while working 80 hrs per week.

Where did you get your coils from, most of us here get them from Global - 8 - 10 packs = DG 508's -

These are the good ones ^^^

BTW - Motocraft plugs are cheaper @ Murrays or O'Riely's. Rock Auto is the online store for plugs.

No problem, you can check prices at the dealerships, -sometimes there good!

I've checked/used many online stores - Don't fall for the "free shipping" suck ins. - It's not free lol. Rock Auto is the best on the web IMO. I purchased the Denso's (Fine Wire plugs) I'm running currently from their for around $35. Best price I've seen.

Other chain parts stores carry Motorcraft. Most of them will try to sell you Autolites though. Try Autozone, Advance, Pep Boys, Carquest, NAPA.

- Well don't get to excited , they usually run better after a fresh reboot. If you detect a mis, it usually gets worse as time goes on. Sounds like a low grade mis now. Under normal acceleration, it's noticed most right after the shift into OD - about 45 -50 mph.

Yea, you need the right plugs definitely -first, that will probably take care of the problem.

Okay... today's the day. I went to the dealer Saturday and picked up a set for $53.59! 6.38 ea lol. I wanted to make sure I had a set. Then I drove over to Advance Auto parts and picked up a set for $27.64 3.39 ea. now I can return the costly ones back to the dealer on Monday. I do need more dielectric grease, any pointers as to how much I should use per plug? Is there a too much? Thanks -Mark

Done! in roughly 2 hours start to finish. #7 gave me an extra hard time this time for some reason. Truck definitely runs better. very smooth idle, but I do notice under a load, a slight miss. I'm guessing maybe a vacuum leak somewhere? injector maybe? help.....
