2004 Poor accelleration and 2nd gear bog?

Yes, I have 35's and the 4.6, but even before I got those on stock tires I was only getting 0-60 times around 10 seconds. Even for a 4.6 that seems slow? And it does take off some at high rpms in first, but when it shifts to second it seems to bog and the rpms really drop off. What is causing my truck to be a pig?

does it make a difference when you go wot or take it easy? i dont know about times from 0-60 for the 4.6 but i would think that would be about right for the size of the truck. did you upgrade to different gears? do you have a tuner? i think it is reccommended to upgrade to 4.56 gears over stock when you go to 35" tires, but you may want to search that first. does it misfire? maybe needs a tuneup? with bigger tires your speedometer is going to show that your going slower than what you actually are.
